Spitfire PR XI in RDAF colors (FLYHIS).

  
         
 

In 1949 a Spitfire PR XI flew a sortie, which photo covered the base in scale 1:8.000.  At that time the base remained almost as it was at the time of the liberation.  Below are links to a number of large pdf files.  I have used a fairly high resolution in order to give justice to the original material.  The pictures are arranged from west to east.
