The two drawings below of the Grosse Elefant are based on materiel received from Herr. F. Trenkle in 1990, and depict part of the system at MAX by Castricum ann Zee deployed in 1944.  The bunker drawing is based on BRV materiel.
According to Hoffmann the Elefant system was deployed as follows:
Warna, Bulgaria.  Four systems arrayed in a square to cover 360 dg.  The parent unit seems to have been named Komp. z.b.V. 3.
Bologna, Italy one system, details unknown.
And the system mentioned in the Netherlands.

Based on Trenkle's book and material, which generously has been made available by Klaas van Brakel in 2008, the system consisted of a Grosse Elefant transmitter, a receiver and a Kleine Elefant (transmitter ?).  The elements were arrayed as depicted on the map below.

Grosse Elefant transmitter.  The system radiated in a fixed 90 dg angle.   Elefant receiver.  The mast is a Wassermann M IV, the antenna is the same as used in the Klein Heidelberg.  Please note, not the same scale as the drawing opposite.
